We have visited the lodges twice now and are already planning our third trip. The lodges are clean, comfortable and well kitted out for families. The surrounding area is serene, even though there are other lodges you feel like you have the place all to yourself.
Ballyhoura is a great base camp for visiting the surrounding areas. With so much to see if you drive anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour in any direction. Lough Gur, Foynes, Bunratty, multiple petting farms and many more sites are so close by. We have had an amazing holiday both times we have stayed here.
The local walking trail is so picturesque and easy to traverse.
