What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Lovely spacious cabin, well designed to separate living areas from bedrooms and bathrooms located close to all bedrooms. Beds plentiful and comfortable, linens clean. Nice supply of clean towels. Quiet, woodland setting, where we could walk a lovely long trail through the woods right from the door. Dog friendly (we have 3, so this was important to us).
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
We were not advised in advance of the additional electricity charge, nor the additional per dog fee, so there were surprise charges on top of the booking that we felt should have been clearly listed prior to booking. Note: if you book via Airbnb this info IS provided (I went to check this before writing a review). If you book via the website (which we did) there is no mention of this, nor was it mentioned in the booking confirmation. This needs addressing! We visited in summer and during a dry period, so could keep electrical usage low. Some basic items of inventory were missing from the lodge.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
We have visited the lodges twice now and are already planning our third trip. The lodges are clean, comfortable and well kitted out for families. The surrounding area is serene, even though there are other lodges you feel like you have the place all to yourself. Ballyhoura is a great base camp for visiting the surrounding areas. With so much to see if you drive anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour in any direction. Lough Gur, Foynes, Bunratty, multiple petting farms and many more sites are so close by. We have had an amazing holiday both times we have stayed here. The local walking trail is so picturesque and easy to traverse.

Fantastic lodges and surrounding area, Maggie was amazing and couldn’t do enough for me and my family, I would highly recommended the lodges and can’t wait to come back again

Great lodges in a very peaceful location . Very relaxing. . Would not hesitate to recommend.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Nothing ! Lodge just needs a few more mugs and glasses probably just some breakages that weren’t replaced. Very comfortable .

A wonderful location, extremely helpful and accommodating staff (Maggie), and the lodges were very clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately we had to cancel the stay due to circumstances beyond our control. The accomodation looked fantastic and Maggie the manager at the location was more than helpful. She waived the fee in full at very short notice. We are now planning to rebook and visit again in the near future. Very professional and helpful, I cant thank them enough.

Location was amazing exactly what I was looking for, peaceful tranquil, nobody bothered you, the cabin was equally amazing, amazing views , all mod cons, was very happy to see the coffee machine, would definitely go back and recommend
