What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Lovely spacious cabin, well designed to separate living areas from bedrooms and bathrooms located close to all bedrooms. Beds plentiful and comfortable, linens clean. Nice supply of clean towels. Quiet, woodland setting, where we could walk a lovely long trail through the woods right from the door. Dog friendly (we have 3, so this was important to us).
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
We were not advised in advance of the additional electricity charge, nor the additional per dog fee, so there were surprise charges on top of the booking that we felt should have been clearly listed prior to booking. Note: if you book via Airbnb this info IS provided (I went to check this before writing a review). If you book via the website (which we did) there is no mention of this, nor was it mentioned in the booking confirmation. This needs addressing! We visited in summer and during a dry period, so could keep electrical usage low. Some basic items of inventory were missing from the lodge.
